The images that are linked to this page show Golden Ears Bridge construction activity on the Fraser River 24 hours ago.

If you click on the image on the left, you will see a view of bridge construction from the south shore of the river. There are four bridge piers in the river; the two shown here are closest to completion.

If you click on the image on the right, you will see a view of bridge construction from Maple Ridge.

All of the towers (pylons), deck sections and cables are to be in place in early 2009. The deck will sit at a height of 40 metres above normal river levels.
